"Do these three things to avoid being hit while riding your bicycle.

Number one, make sure you ride with the flow of traffic. Don’t ride against it because when drivers are coming up to a road, they always look left to see where the vehicles are coming from and they’re never looking right. They’re not going to see you if you’re riding against traffic.

Make eye contact with drivers of vehicles. Don’t assume that they see you. If you can’t see the driver’s eyes in the vehicle, assume they can’t see you. That’s your safe bet.

State law says if you’re riding at night, then you have to have a headlight on the front and you have to have another light on the back. Make sure you have a light on your bike and remember, the higher the lumens, the more the drivers can see you.

If you do these three things, it’s going to keep you safe while you’re having fun riding your bike.

Depositions are basically a question-and-answer session. Once a lawsuit is filed, both sides have the opportunity to gather information about the case and one of the ways that they do that is by bringing in witnesses to ask them questions in person.

As the plaintiff in a personal injury case, you would be one of the primary witnesses at the deposition. Your lawyer will be there with you but the lawyer from the other side gets the opportunity to place you under oath and ask you questions about anything and everything involving the case, your treatment, your injuries, how the accident happened and then your attorney will be able to ask questions to you as well and ask questions to other witnesses.
