2022 NEW ATTORNEY ANNOUNCEMENT
Hale Law, a Florida plaintiff personal injury law firm, is proud to announce that Trevor Sammons, Esq. has joined the firm as an Attorney. His practice area will be focused in the Greater Tampa Bay Area.
Mr. Sammons grew up in Polk County and attended Bartow Senior High School where he graduated top 10 in his class and also won the Lakeland Ledger Editorial Writing Contest; a county-wide, mandatory writing contest. After graduation, Mr. Sammons was offered a scholarship to attend the University of Florida. It was there that Mr. Sammons obtained his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. During his senior year, Mr. Sammons was awarded an internship with a prominent NFL agent in south Florida. It was an experience he will always cherish, but it was also an experience that made him realize that it would be in his best interest to attend law school and obtain more knowledge to use in advocating for his future clients.
Mr. Sammons chose to attend Stetson University College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate. Mr. Sammons was an avid participant in intramural athletics and made many lasting relationships with his fellow classmates, one of which is Hale Law Partner, Patrick Iyampillai. While still attending Stetson Law, Mr. Sammons began clerking for a Tampa-based personal injury law firm, where he first learned about big insurance companies and how they can take advantage of people’s best interests after being involved in an accident. It was then that Mr. Sammons knew being a plaintiff personal injury lawyer was his true calling.
Following graduation from Stetson Law and passing the Florida Bar Exam, Mr. Sammons was offered an associate attorney position with the same personal injury firm he previously clerked for. Over the course of his career, Mr. Sammons has handled hundreds of personal injury cases from their inception to their resolution, including protracted litigation. Mr. Sammons gained invaluable skills which he continues to apply as an advocate for those injured and represented by Hale Law. Mr. Sammons is extremely passionate about helping Plaintiffs and their loved ones recover the true value of their cases and has settled, or assisted in settling, over 10 million dollars of personal injury settlements during his career thus far. Mr. Sammons is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in all Florida courts.
