Hale Law, a Florida plaintiff personal injury law firm, is proud to announce that Michael T. Murphy, Esq. has joined the firm as a Litigation Attorney.

Mr. Murphy grew up in Manatee County and attended Manatee High School. While there, he was a member of the Hurricanes Football Team that won the 1992 State Championship. After high school, he graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the College of Criminology. Then, he went on to attend the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. While at Nova Southeastern, Mr. Murphy was also a member of the international Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity.

In 2001, Mr. Murphy began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for the 12th Judicial Circuit in Sarasota, Florida, prosecuting criminal cases and gaining valuable trial experience.

For nearly 20 years, Mr. Murphy has specialized in the litigation of all areas of personal injury law, exclusively representing injured victims and their families. Mr. Murphy has litigated several jury trials to successful verdicts on behalf of his clients, including a multi-million dollar verdict. He now brings his experience and passion for helping injured people to Hale Law

Mr. Murphy is a member of The Florida Bar, the Florida Justice Association, the American Association for Justice, the Manasota Trial Lawyers Board, the Sarasota County Bar Association, and the distinguished Manatee American Inn of Court. Recently, he was selected to be a member of The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Attorneys. Mr. Murphy is admitted to practice in all Florida courts as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
