Hale Law, is proud to announce that, for the third year in a row, it will be partnering up with Fit2Run, Nathan Benderson Park, and other sponsors for the Annual Florida Turkey Trot 5K race, a now iconic part of the Thanksgiving tradition for Sarasota and Manatee County families!
The 5k race is once again on Thanksgiving Day and goes over the lake at Nathan Benderson Park. Parking is open as early as 6 AM on race day. Runners 18 and over start on Thanksgiving Day at 8 AM. All participants will receive a race shirt, race bib, and finisher’s medal. Kids 18 and under can register for a separate race, too! The top 100 male and top 100 female finishers will receive a commemorative coffee mug. Every racer will be awarded treats from Der Dutchman and bakery items from Publix. Adult beverages will be available as well for of-age participants.
Proceeds from the race benefit the Big Bill Foundation 501c3 and The Suncoast Aquatic Nature Center Associates, Inc. (SANCA), a not-for-profit 501c3 business created to manage Nathan Benderson Park, a community/public asset and world class, multi-use sports venue. SANCA’s mission is to improve the quality of life for our community and be an economic generator for our region.
