Hale Law Teacher of the Year Campaign


Rules and Eligibility:

Eligibility: Nominees must be currently employed as a high school classroom teacher (grades 9-12) in Sarasota or Manatee County and have at least one full academic year of teaching experience. Nominations are not open for individuals related to Hale Law employees, former clients, or individuals related to former clients. Educators from all types of high schools, including public, private, charter, magnet schools, and any other type of school, are eligible to participate in the Hale Law Teacher of the Year. Proof of eligible employment will be required upon redemption of the reward. The reward must be picked up in person at Hale Law’s Sarasota location. The winner upon accepting the reward agrees to photos and name being used in Hale Law’s social media and marketing materials. Upon being nominated, nominees will be contacted by Hale Law and must agree to rules and eligibility in order to be eligible to win.

Nominations: Nominations can be made by anyone in the community, including students, parents, fellow teachers, and administrators. Nominations must be submitted via the online form provided by Hale Law. Nominations should include the following information:

  • Nominator’s name, phone number, and email address
  • Nominee’s name and school
  • A brief description of why you are nominating the teacher

Deadline: Nominations must be received by May 11, 2023.

Voting: The winner of the Hale Law Teacher of the Year will be decided by the popular vote of the public. Voting will take place on a dedicated form. Voting will be open to everyone, with a limit of one vote per person. Students, parents, fellow teachers, administrators, and other members of the local community are encouraged to vote, however individuals eligible to vote are not limited to those physically residing in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Voting will be open from May 12, 2023 to May 19, 2023.

Winner announcement: The winner will be announced during the last week of the 2022-2023 Sarasota and Manatee county public school year (May 22, 2023–May 26, 2023).

Prize: The winner of the Hale Law Teacher of the Year campaign will receive a prize of $1,000.00.

Fairness: The campaign will be conducted fairly and transparently. Any evidence of fraud or vote manipulation will result in disqualification.

The Hale Law Teacher of the Year is not sponsored or endorsed by Facebook/Instagram.
